BATHLETE

You’ll never be able to smell like them, but you’ll be able enjoy their scent through sound. Who’s them? Bathlete, a collective from parts unknown…well, unless you know. A crew of misfits who share a love for sports while lacking athleticism, and a passion for hygiene while lacking bath tubs…hence the name. There are far too many members to count, so we’ll keep it at that.

BIRD BENNETT

Portland-based artist, Bird Bennett, has been showcasing his skills with his clever songwriting, sampled based production, and rememberable performances. The 21 year old artist has been consistently sharpening his skills for the past 4 years by self-teaching: producing, songwriting, recording, mixing, and mastering. Bird’s music is inspired by real stories from his day to day life focusing on his endless love stories. The versatility in Bird’s music leads to a variety of emotions from crying your eyes out to wanting to be in a mosh pit. Bird is connected with his art and plans to put on for his city to the best of his abilities.

WAVY JOSEF

From playing piano at the age of two, programming beats at seven, and using production software at twelve, Wavy Josef has always been deeply connected to music. He believes art is essential to life, and vice versa. Using his aspiring talents in various programs and schools such as Caldera Arts, Open Meadow, PPS, Portland Parks & Rec, and De La Salle North Catholic, Wavy was inducted into the scene at a young age, allowing him to become immersed in the creative environment around him, as well as a true fan of those who laid the groundwork before him. The 21 year old producer attributes DJ OG One for promoting and giving him his first pair of production headphones, Sol Republics.

Josef is active as a member of the New Orleans and Los Angeles based artist collective FOURTH EYE TRiBE, as well as continuing his work in the Rip City as an African Drummer, Pianist, Poet, Songwriter, Composer, and co-owner of a music publishing LLC

KOREY B.

Korey B. is an artist hailing from the Pacific Northwest. Born and raised in Hillsboro, OR, he’s currently making waves in the Portland music scene. Through an eclectic catalog of self-produced independent projects (including “Big Jacket EP” [2020] & “Veer EP” [2021]) he’s been able to establish a sound that is a combination of heavy hitting bars and melodic hooks. With his forthcoming 2022 project “Effortless” he shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon!
