Drawing together our vibrant music community and the surrounding neighborhood, Local Roots Music NW is proud to host a Neighborhood family friendly happy hour series at the Alberta Abbey.

These free Thursday happy hours will feature two Local Roots acts from 5-7pm. See dates below.

Local Roots Music NW has been showcasing music from all over the Pacific Northwest for over 9 years, with a syndicated FM radio show, television concert series, live concerts, and festivals. The radio show features original recordings from local musicians, as well as over 400 concerts recorded live at the monthly Local Roots Live Series.  

Shows and events are produced by founder Robert Richter with fellow musician Ronnie Carrier, who work closely with the music and media community to offer the best resources for independent artists from beyond Salem and Portland, as far as Vancouver, BC, to Idaho, to Seattle, and down to Eugene, OR and beyond.
