Frank Irwin Quintet

Known for evocative melodies, smooth harmonies, and deep grooves, the Frank Irwin Quintet draws experience from the sounds of the Pacific Northwest, bringing a unique flavor to the Portland jazz scene. Founded in 2018 by bassist, producer, and composer, Chris Frank, his Quintet strives to bring positivity and levity into the lives of its audience members, armed with a dark sense of humor and uplifting sound.

Inspired by his work as a middle school teacher, Frank lets the humanity of music shine through his compositions and arrangements, embracing a songbook that takes listeners through an eclectic array of genres, from hip-hop to Fiddler on the Roof, all told through the infinite idiom of jazz and Black American Music.

The Cheektet

The Cheektet is a quintet that is lead by tenor saxophonist Keith cheek. Taking inspiration from saxophone giants from the likes of billy harper, Wayne shorter and grover Washington Jr he provides a smooth and energetic sound.the cheektet performs high energy contemporary jazz music as well as featuring invigorating covers from established soul musicians like sam cooke and Stevie wonder.

Jay Si Proof

Jay Si Proof is a musical collective playing earth jazz, founded by trombonist/vocalist Jeff Chilton. Playing between dancy grooves, catchy melodies, personal lyrics, and jazzy harmonies, Jay Si Proof's music strikes a balance between being thoughtfully arranged and passionately improvised.
